Soccer
Our youth soccer program teaches teamwork, fundamental skills, and healthy competition using Christian values. With fun practices and games, players learn to work together, stay positive, follow the rules, and be respectful. Our goal is foster a soccer community where kids and families enjoy the game.
Spring 2025
When? Saturdays March 29 - May 10
March 29 - practice/meet the coach
April 4 - May 3 - regular season
May 10 - playoffs (championship medals for division winners)
What? 45 minutes of practice, 5 minute devotion, 45 minutes of game play
Times? 10:45am - 12:20pm
Who? Pre K - 9th grade boys and girls (co-ed) - beginners and experienced players welcome!
Where? Franke Soccer Fields: 3552 Rennau Dr, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064
Why? Experienced coaches, healthy competition, devotions and prayer before games, play with friends

Meet the Kingdom Sports KC Directors of Soccer
Nick Sandusky
Director of Soccer

Nick graduated from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014 and then went on to get his masters from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. He was a youth pastor for from 2010 - 2012 and has been a senior pastor for over 10 years.
Nick grew up playing all sports, but fell in love with soccer, which he played in high school. Nick has coached multiple teams over the last 8 years, several who have placed top in their division. Nick is passionate for growing the game of soccer and leading youth to Christ through sports.
Matt Keenan
Director of Soccer

Matt served in the United States Air Force from 2008 till 2022. He served as a Battalion Chief and Fire Fighter deploying 3 times to the middle east in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Matt also served as a fire department instructor from 2010 - 2014 providing top notch education to the entire Department of Defense fire services. During this time he grew a passion for teaching others. Currently he uses his skill sets as a Safety Coordinator for one of Kansas City's oldest construction companies, Musselman & Hall.
Matt grew up playing soccer. He played through high school, college and even in the United States Air Force. When his children were of age to play sports, specifically soccer, Matt desired to coach. He has coached multiple teams over the last 3 years in the Blue Springs area.
Matt has a true love for the Lord and wants to use sports to disciple both athletes and parents.
